I was at UFC 83 and witnessed Kalib Starnes back peddling against Nate Quarry. The sad thing is the fight is still better than both Kimbo's and Kalib Starnes' last fight. The sadder thing is that the fight lasts as long as it does-how come he can't knock this kid out? The saddest thing is that the MMA fighter was willing to take the fight.

Who Did This Guy Actually Beat?

Supposedly this guy sports a record of 200-0 using his mystical Kiai powers. He challenges any MMA fighter to a fight for $5000. After watching the beginning of the video it almost makes you think that maybe he has a chance, lets just say my mind is changed very quickly. What is even more depressing is that he seems to think his powers will work. Though I do still think he could take out Kalib Starnes.

Before I say what must be said, I need to let you know how much respect I have for any man or woman that competes in mixed-martial arts. Every fighter from the local promotions all the way up through the UFC sacrifice a great deal to become fighters. That is why I was so sickened by what I saw Saturday night. Kalib Starnes and Travis Lutter should be ashamed of their performances and both should be terminated from their UFC contracts. As a matter of fact, as I write this, Kalib Starnes has been released from his UFC contract. I can only hope that Travis Lutter is next.

Martin Kampmann ( 15-2 ) has sustained an injury that will keep him out of UFC 72, the UFC chose Yushin Okami to take his place. Yushin Okami ( 20-3 ) has been with the UFC since the 26th of August. He's been flawless in all his bouts with the UFC ( 4-0 ) and is 12-1 in his last 13 fights.
