Cornelius Ingram Latest Eagle to Shred His ACL

After learning Stewart Bradley was likely lost for the season, we now have similar news on the offensive side of the field. Various outlets are reporting that rookie TE Cornelius Ingram has a torn left ACL, the same injury he sustained just before his final season at Florida. Another promising player is lost, and preseason (AKA injury season) hasn't even started yet. DeSean Jackson also banged his knee up, but it doesn't sound serious. Week 1 can't come soon enough for the Birds.

Cornelius Ingram Tears His ACL, Again

If I wasn’t busy banging my head against the desk, I would be laughing at how the 2009 season is slowly and painfully being flushed down the toilet before our very eyes. According to PE.com, Cornelius Ingram has re-torn his left ACL; the same one he tore last August while at Florida. Gee. Think [...]

Ingram and “Macho” College Highlights

There’s not much video available to the general public featuring Cornelius Ingram at Florida since he missed all of the ‘08 season. However, I did find this nice compilation tape on YouTube starring Ingram and “Macho” Harris.

Eagles Draft Cornelius Ingram

Another quality, high value selection by the Eagles. Florida tight end Cornelius Ingram brings loads of potential to the table. Great athlete who can stretch the field. He was graded as a second or third round talent, so getting him in the 5th round is a low risk move. It’s one more weapon to add [...]

Arizona Cardinals Potential Draft Pick: Cornelius Ingram

Cornelius Ingram, TE Florida
6'4 & 245 lbs.
Ultimately, Ingram seems like another Leonard Pope; a big, underachieving tight end who doesn't play with any kind of passion. But he's been projected on some mock drafts for the Cardinals in the l...

Chase Coffman: Eagles Late Round TE Steal?

The focus of Eagles fans has been Brandon
Pettigrew, but I would be surprised if the Eagles use a top pick on a
position like TE. It’s just not worth a first-round pick. Tight end
is very deep this year. The Eagles are looking at Cornelius Ingram and
Jared Cook as potential second-round picks. They could even wait as
much as the fourth round before taking a tight end. A guy that could
potentially be a tremendous steal is Chase Coffman, who I talked briefly about in my last article on a review of Walter Football’s mock draft for the Eagles. Take a look at this guy. It seems like this guy can catch anything
and as we know, Andy could care less about an elite blocking TE like
Pettigrew. All Andy cares about is if the guy can make catches and
Chase Coffman can certainly do that. VIDEO TO FOLLOW AT THE FULL URL -- YOU NEED TO SEE THIS GUY -- WOW!

Eagles offseason picture becoming clear... More 2009 Draft talk

I’m certainly glad the Eagles addressed their
issues at FB instead of ignoring that position for another season.
With a look at their depth chart,
you can see how the Eagles offseason plans are coming into fruition.
What’s interesting to see there is that Todd Herremans has been moved
to the starting LT and Max Jean-Gilles has moved into the starting LG. Check out the full article on my full 2009 NFL Draft rant. Maybe we don't need an OT. I talk Brandon Pettigrew, Cornelius Ingram, Knowshon Moreno, Beanie Wells, LeSean McCoy, and Darrius Heyward-Bey.

Rosenhaus @ UF’s Pro Day

Unlike last year, UF’s Pro Day was not open to the public. It was open to journalists
and agents. Drew Rosenhaus was there with his custom RSR tee,

UF's Ingram could jump to NFL

Ingram, Florida's junior tight end, said Monday he expects to forgo his senior year and enter the NFL Draft if he learns that he will be drafted in the first three rounds. Ingram added that he believes he will be.

"I am pretty confident about it," Ingram said. "I'm trying not to worry about it. I'm just trying to get ready for Michigan."

Ingram submitted paperwork to the NFL's advisory committee earlier this month regarding his draft status. He said he expects to receive that paperwork back as early as this week. Ingram said he won't announce his final decision until after Florida plays Michigan in the Capital One Bowl on Jan. 1.

Not The First Kiss For Tebow and Joiner

Tony Joiner approached Tim Tebow, placed his hand on top of Tebow's head, leaned forward, and kissed the Gator quarterback on the cheek.

Continue to 2nd paragraph The public display of affection, coming on Florida's sideline following Tebow's second quarter touchdown pass to Cornelius Ingram, seemed innocent enough.

Troy Proud Of Second Half Rebound

The Troy defense nearly got run over twice on Saturday.

Continue to 2nd paragraph The first time came prior to Saturday's game when a car carrying Gator fans swerved into the bus carrying Trojan defenders. The second time came in the first half at The Swamp, with the Florida offense as the culprit.

After two periods, fourth-ranked UF led 49-3 on its way to a 59-31 victory and had 342 of its 500 total yards. Gator quarterback Tim Tebow was 15-of-18 for 217 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. And tight end Cornelius Ingram already had a career-high 101 receiving yards.

The numbers made last week's 46-26 Troy loss at Arkansas almost seem like a Baltimore Ravens' special by comparison.

UF's Ingram Has A Breakthrough Night

Cornelius Ingram, whom Florida coach Urban Meyer has named this year's Face of Florida football, was practically nonexistent in UF's opener against Western Kentucky. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound hybrid tight end/receiver caught only one ball for 11 yards.

In UF's 59-31 victory over Troy, Ingram had a career night, catching seven passes for 101 yards, both personal bests. He also scored on a 5-yard pass from sophomore quarterback Tim Tebow late in the second quarter.

"It felt great," Ingram said of getting more passes thrown his way. "Like I've been telling everybody, you definitely want to take advantage of it, because with guys that we have at all the positions ? even the running back position, quarterback position ? (you) never know when you'll get (the ball) again. Whenever you are able to get the ball, you definitely want to take advantage of that opportunity."
